Privacy Policy
Last updated 1 August 2026. This policy explains how FleetSight handles the data your organisation entrusts to the platform.
What we collect
Operator account details, user accounts created within your tenant, vehicle records you upload, inspection photographs, and compliance documents captured by your field officers. We also collect standard technical logs for security and reliability.
How we use it
Solely to deliver the FleetSight service to your organisation: reading condition and compliance from your images, generating alerts and work orders, and producing reporting for your users. We do not sell data or share it with third parties for marketing.
Tenant isolation
Each operator company's data is isolated at the data layer. Users can only access records within their own tenant, subject to the role assigned to them by your administrators.
Retention
Retention windows for images and documents are configurable per tenant. On termination, we provide a full export and delete your data within 60 days unless a longer period is required by law.
NDPR
We process personal data — principally driver and customer identifiers attached to handovers — under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation, applying purpose limitation, data minimisation and access control. Data subjects may exercise their rights through your organisation as data controller.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on AWS infrastructure, with role-based access control, audit logging of user actions, and automated backup and recovery.
